IMB awards at the 7th James Black conference, London, September 2009

Congratulations to:

Dr Lorraine Work (IMB-funded lecturer, Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre) who won a certificate and £500 cash prize for her contributions to in vivo teaching. Lorraine was responsible for the organisation and running of the first cardiovascular summer school which was a great success.

Craig Robertson (PhD student who attended one of the IMB summer schools and is now supervised by Prof Mhairi Macrae, University of Glasgow) who won the prize for best poster

presented by Dr Mike Collis, Chief Executive of the Physiological Society

 

 

Also to Kevin White, an IMB-funded PhD student in Prof Maclean's laboratory (Univeristy of Glasgow) who was selected to give an elevated short talk.

 

 

And to Dr Leanne McKay (IMB-funded lecturer, FBLS, University of Glasgow) who delivered one of the symposium talks.
